Are you embarrassed to smile? Do you feel self-conscious about crooked or malaligned teeth? Do you cover your teeth when smiling in photographs? Would you like to smile and laugh with confidence?

If yes then Invisalign is for you.  Invisalign has helped 6 million individuals around the world achieve the smile of their dreams. Invisalign is a virtually invisible method of straightening your teeth.

What happens in Invisalign® treatment?

Your treatment begins with a thorough assessment of your teeth by your dentist. Using modern dental imaging technology and software, a simulation of your treatment plan will be created for you to view.

Once you receive your first set of aligners, you will bring them home and wear the first one for 20-22 hours a day for 1 week. Then you switch out the old aligner and replace it with the next aligner in the series. The great thing about aligners is that they can be removed whenever you need to eat, drink, brush, or floss your teeth, without causing interruption to your daily routine.

Invisalign® patients are eligible for 0% interest-free finance at Coach House Dental.

How long does orthodontic treatment take?

The treatment depends on 2 things — how much correction is required, and the type of treatment system used.

Your dentist can give you a reasonable estimate of your treatment duration during your first consultation.

Will Invisalign treatment be uncomfortable?

Your treatment system may create mild discomfort when you first start wearing it. There may also be brief periods of discomfort each time you change your aligners.

After a short adjustment period, you should feel no discomfort at all and can continue with your daily activities.

Do I need to avoid certain foods during the treatment?

The Invisalign® system uses clear, removable aligners that patients can remove during mealtimes, so their diet is not restricted.

What happens when my Invisalign treatment is complete?

After the end of your treatment, you will need to wear a retainer regularly to ensure your teeth do not shift back to their original position.

You can choose between fixed or removable retainers. Discreet retainers are also available. Following your orthodontic treatment, our staff will go over all the options with you to help you decide which would be best suited for your situation.

Please call Coach House Dental on 01629 339 600 to book a consultation to explore your orthodontic options.
